TOR isn't really anonymous to be honest. Yeah, it reroutes you around a ton of different nodes making it hard to track, but if someone can figure out your exit node, they could track you back to your computer's IP address.

Honestly it depends on what you are doing --

Look at it like this - if you are just paranoid and think people really care about you - and are watching you then yes its anon - because nobody cares enough to go through the legwork to find you.

If you attempt to hack the DoD - then NO its not anon - but if you were able to do this, you wouldnt be asking.

I am guessing you dont know much about computers, and want to do something and not get caught -
You are the biggest security risk - just like in computer security (anti-virus) the user is the biggest risk (AKA stupidity)
