Too many banners good for website SEO? - dragon o - 04-08-2014 08:14 PM

Going to launch a classified website and planning to create around 800+ banners for direct advertisement on website to generate revenue..

Is it good to create 800 banners on site, does it has any effects on SEO?

Not sure of the guidelines for classified sites, Google has a hard rule for regular sites that less than 50% of the content area (excluding headers, menus, etc) should be ads.

Too many ad blocks on your site will reduce your search engine rankings. Your site needs to be focused on the content with a few ads to support it. This will create a better user experience which is what Google and other search engines look for. If you are unsure what factors of your site affect SEO and want to increase your rankings you should use SEOMoz. SEOmoz is a great tool that will boost your traffic for sure.
