Knowing zip about what sort of business you have makes it difficult to answer such a question.
There are plenty of free site hosts that may prove adequate for a simple online brochure presence, the next step up would be to get an official business domain name for about $12 US a year, which some free hosts like Google;s Blogger.com accept.
Those with a business street address should et free local listing pages on yahoo/bing/google which tend to show up in local searches.
http://google.com/placesforbusiness/ is the most valuable of the bunch.
