I have to make the introduction for a debate we're having on friday and i dont know how to start the introduction. The debate is about does violence in the media cause agrressive behavior

You could open by ranting at (an imaginary) TV set.

-State your side's argument (eg. this house believes that the violence in media causes aggressive behavior)
-Set the context by providing your own definitions (eg. What do you mean by media? Is it the mass media or a specific type of media (eg. social media))
-Throw in your team line (which you would repeat every now and then throughout your debate)
-Briefly explain what the other team members will be talking about
