how to completely ''uninstall'' a wireless connection from a computer? - Maximilian - 04-08-2014 08:21 PM

I need to completely UNINSTALL the wireless connection and the ability to ever get on a wireless connection again in the future . I need to completely UNINSTALL not just disable or deactivate a profile of a wireless connection. This is serious guys. I don't want it at all to be on my laptop again. I tried the disable but and remove profiles and all but that is not a PERMANENT action because you can always get it back. I need a permenant action and before you ask. YES, it's my computer not someone else's.
My daughter is using it 24 seven and is NOT studying at all. and I need her to come and see that there is no wireless anymore!! This is serious. I need serious help. each time I disable it she gets it back and finds a way around control panel to get it back
Oh thanks, RHYS! yes I should delete the drive itself of wireless from the drivers Smile that is it!

You have set up for that you need to uninstall it from your computer e.g. in control panel or from programs your connection name below that uninstall option is there.
Thanks

Go to your network window click wireless networks left click on the wireless network name click delete. It will ask if you want to permanent forget this network. Say yes. Then goto settings and drivers and delete the wireless drivers. The only true way to make it totally permanent is to remove the wireless card from the pc.
