Our website is all about gadget reviews, and we'll be changing our website template soon. I am confused which one to use between these two (links below) for marketing purposes. One that will keep my visitors longer and will entice them to click more articles in the site.

I like page layout, color scheme, the carousels and slide-show effects you have there..
It's very up-to-date, and it's general look is very professional.
I vote for it. Definitely

2 is slightly more visually pleasing, BUT the load times of each theme is excessive. #2 was higher load time by 7 seconds - both themes i find too complex to hold attention
http://www.industrialthemes.com is the fastest loading but too dark for me
