Does Challenging a Ticket Negate Traffic School? - Raedwald - 04-08-2014 08:27 PM

I was cited for a small traffic infraction, but I plan to challenge it--and I have a pretty solid basis for the challenge--but someone said if I lose, I might not be able to go to traffic school and get it erased from my record. Is that true? I live in LA county. Thanks.

Yes, this is true. If you plead not guilty to the traffic infraction but are found guilty, it’s up to the judge whether to offer you the option to go to traffic school.
