I have a couple of text files in my notes on my mobile and i want to upload them to an online textfile site but most seem to display those texts publicly any recommendations for sites which offers private upload and free acc thanks

Mediafire. You get, i think, 10GB of free online storage, and no-one will be able to access them. They only way to make it public is to click 'Share Link' but even if you do that, people will still need to know the Link.

Why upload them at all?

Try box.com or dropbox.com or any of the other free online cloud storage sites.

tumblr, make a public account that you wont use then WITH your public account add an account that will be password protected/ not a soul can see with out the password. Dont try to make a 'private tumblr' with out first making a public one or you won't be able to. If you really want it to be super private so that nobody can find out its yours, dont use your real name, or nick name or city ect. Just use numbers and letters/ random words. Dont try to make a private facebook, because I did that putting a ton of photos onto it using it as a "cloud" but randomly with out anyone reporting it because nobody knew of it and I had the privacy settings on max, a facebook employee deleted the account. I guess they don't want you doing that. So your best bet is tumblr.
