Ok.. so I have a website for my business and I am trying to determine my ROI for my social media platform. A determinate for finding this number is analyzing click points. DId the customer go directly to the site from a google search or did they go from Twitter Facebook etc? What is the best way to determine this factor?

You can use Google Analytics to track that, a free service by Google.

If you have never used Google Analytics, it may look a bit overwhelming at first, but you should just read Google's proper tutorial or any of these ones to figure it out:

The way GA works is, the service will generate a piece of code, which you'll have to add to your site.
Then, when you log into your Google Analytics account, you will be able to see web traffic statistics for your website (including where your visitors came from, etc.)
