SEO - Full form - Search Engine Optimization
In Short - There are some standard tactics/ rules / guideline which helps webmaster to increase his/her website's ranking in any search engine like Google, Yahoo, Bing etc. Through search engine he /she can get more traffic & increase online business.
Skills - basic computer skillset, Internet knowledge like website types, how to promote anything on internet or social media. Yes it is a IT job. But you don't need to be an Engg / MCA/ MCS. If you are a graduate student, its ok.
