Are Facebook groups worth anything? - Aaron - 10-15-2012 08:46 PM

I was wondering if it's posible to sell a Facebook group? I've got a Facebook group with over 2,500 members in it. The group is about Twitter...

Someone who wanted to use it for marketing might want to buy it?

I doubt it.... and 2500 people is nothing tbh, I've seen groups with like 1mil plus people. Then MAYBE it might be worth something but even then, I doubt it.

I don't think you can legally sell it because it's property of Facebook, and I think Face reserves the right to close any groups.

No...because anyone can make a group. 2,500 is a small amount of people. That's how many students attend my university. There are groups out there with 1 million plus people. And anything on Facebook is owned by Facebook, so you cannot sell it. That what the little copyright symbol is at the bottom (Scroll all the way to the bottom where you can click older posts and look underneath that, it says Facbook 2010 (copyright symbol))
