Husbands phone set to not accept cookies? - Elizabeth ML - 04-08-2014 08:31 PM

Please help. My husbands phone was set to never accept cookies (iPhone) does this mean that he is up to something online? Does this stop me from seeing his Internet history? Can someone please explain

You have no need to worry... Cookies are not needed to store history they are simply used for site sessions. This means things such as timing out and login sessions. They are small files stored on the phone/computer so that the website can store small information and get it on another page. When you log in to a site and move to another page, how does the internet know you are still logged on? Yes cookies. They have nothing to do with history and will be destroyed by the browser by default when the website closes anyway.
