Can i Trust craigslist? - Keaton - 04-08-2014 08:33 PM

I found an offer recently that was selling a console. it was used but it says/looks in good condition. and i emailed and confirmed to meet up and buy it.
through email he responded like how i suspected. very normal like and giving me the time to contact with the correct number, meet up, and try out the console. the pictures that were posted on the ad seem real enough, but it could be any picture. im just gonna give it the benefit of the doubt and pay after i make sure its functional.
Should i trust this? i have someone coming with me because this is my first craigslist purchase, the seller in the same city i not too far. a couple miles at the least so im around people i know. i have a good feeling about it but im not sure. what are your experiences, good bad or normal
He provided his cell which was correct after texting and also his name

Craiglist is kinda risky. You should bring your friends along in case this person tries to scam you and kill you or something. On my opinion, I wouldn't go on craiglists cuz sometimes there are scammers working there.

You can look at an ad and see how much detail it has and read the description of the product, also see if the seller provided his or her phone number. I would trust a seller by looking at the amount of description of a product.
