Problem connecting to the internet.? - GibBas - 04-08-2014 08:36 PM

The last time I used the computer and turned it off it did a Windows update. When I turned it back on a while ago it said that it doesn't recognise Bing, (which is not my provider I always use Google). I eventually got Google back but funnily enough, it lets me come onto Yahoo here but when I click on anything else in my favourites it says the web page cannot be displayed!
Any suggestions.
I tried disconnecting the router and it hasn't made any difference. It's something to do with the updates, it must be because it was perfect up until then. The last time there were updates this happened but after I got google back everything was ok again. Now it's not though.

I have no problem connecting to google; it's when I click on a site that's the problem. It says web page unavailable.

Disconnect the router.. let it sit for 10 seconds .. reconnect. That should reset it and your problem should be gone.

Reconnect all the connection and restart your PC.I think it will be solved

Bing is NOT a service provider, so if you are trying to connect through Bing, there's your problem.

Bing is a search engine.
