When you open a business, customers won't necessarily come. Each business must have a plan on how to get customers, how to deal with them, and what to do to make them keep coming back. Hence, that's why you have a marketing plan

- defining their marketing strategy
- setting up their marketing system
- mapping out their marketing activities
- sharpening their marketing tools
