i have a small business. i recently set up a facebook page. however, when i do a google search for my business, i can never find my facebook page on google results?
how do I make my FACEBOOK page appear in GOOGLE search? i couldn't find anything on the internet regarding this. any suggestions or information would be much appreciated.

You can advertise your page on Facebook by paying for the ads that will appear with ur group... Just go to ur Facebook page and I think it's under edit.

Google sorts things by viewers i'm pretty sure. So If you type in "facebook" it will come up with anything that has relation to facebook, in order of what page got the most amount of views to what got the least amount of views. Only way to get yours' high up there is if your page gets like 5 billion views.... Sorry

in the options for privacy, u'll find an option for that. top right corner, click ur account so that u can follow this route: Choose Your Privacy SettingsApps > Games and Websites>Public search.
edit those settings and it will allow ur fb pg to pop up when searching ur name. HOWEVER, these things are not necessarily instantaneous... *might* take a couple o' weeks for the search engine spiders pick it up...but it will definitely get u there.

Facebook is indexed by search engines and the more people on your page, higher it is shown. It might need some time to index your page, also you can check if it's already in index on Facebook Search site listed below. It uses Google engine for searching around Facebook.
