I wasn't paying attention; wanted to download Mozilla Firefox. I allowed it to make changes on my computer but I stopped installing it in the middle. Will this mess up my computer? How can I change what's allowed to make changes on my computer??

Nothing will happen. It says that more or less as a disclaimer. No firefox app will harm your computer in any way.
