Some ways to make money online? I am trying to...? - Blue - 04-08-2014 08:47 PM

What are some ways to make money online? I want to help my husband with the bills and bills for the vet. And I can't go to work away from the house because we recently had to take our dog to get surgery so I have to stay home to take care of him.

You can't. It's all scams.

Well you can go on sites like Ebay.com and sell some things and earn money that way?

Most people who try to make money on the internet fail, although you can try a business venture without investing tens of thousands like in a franchise business, that low startup cost might invite people who have no business trying it. The number of make money courses with outrageous earning claims are countless.
You can find freelance work at marketplaces like odesk.com, elance.com, freelancer.com these seem to be relatively scam free, you would be competing with a world wide worker pool, while firstly for technicians, there are writing projects regularly coming up, a native English speaker has a big edge in this work, the going rate for basic filler articles may be $3 for 450 words, the most elite sites expect to pay up to $75 for expert authors. There is no cost to workers at the 10 or so freelance sites used by web business operators, the Anything Goes section of Freelancer shows how non technical some of the short term jobs can get. You are ultimately dealing with individual small 'employers' so the experiences can vary. Odesk has a variety of skills tests you could use to learn where you fit in and add to your online resume.

There are micro task sites, the original was created by Amazon.com to 'automate' tasks a computer couldn't do, like picking the better of 2 pictures, they named mturk.com after the 18th century Mechanical Turk chess playing machine that had a man hidden inside, shortTask.com and microworkers.com have similar micro tasks Some of these tasks are a bit shady, but you can only do the ones you choose to.
