How to properly use a username? - L - 04-08-2014 08:48 PM

Usernames are of coarse a big thing online. People around the world make usernames everyday for different websites. I have a question though, which is what the headline states (How to use usernames online?). I'll do the best I can to explain what I mean by that question.

Let's say "Bob" had a username called "Eggman123". Now Bob, uses that name for all of his websites and online needs. Why do people make usernames the same for everything? So Bob, enjoys his name and then signs up to a website, but his name was now taken. Then what? Just make a different name? Like make a whole different name?

All I'm saying is, what is the best thing to do when making a username online? Using different aliases or the same one for everything and hope it does not get taken on a certain website?

Many of us adore a username that we have, like myself and one day I signed up and the name I enjoyed was taken. Kappa (Kappa means Troll Face)

Someone answer back? Thank you

To make a username is easy. First think of a username that you like and original (For example Gamer_M for me) Then you can just use it all the time. This is easier because you don't have to remember every username from every website. Then if your username name is taken. Try adding/removing/changing some of the wording. (For example, Gamer_M to GamerM to Gamer__M to Gamer___M) Then your done.
