Multiple Blogs Questions I Have? - Inimitable Specimen - 04-08-2014 08:48 PM

I have a lot of questions about running multiple blogs. I might have more later, in which I'll post more questions again. Thank you for the help.

Would it be more beneficial (for followers and the like) to create multiple blogs related to the things I like? I tend to change my mood and the things I’m “in to” frequently, so I’d sort of abandon some blogs for a while. Is this okay to do? Does this seem to be the only way I could/would get more followers? How many total blogs am I allowed to have if I choose to make multiple? Why are people less likely to be a follower of my blog, if I post random things that I just happen to like?
I don't see the point to make a fandom based blog (which I'd like to do, I just don't think it'd get me any more followers) if there's a million out there just like mine.

People like reading about things they are interested in, so if you constantly change subjects, you won't get followers.

You can have multiple blogs in many sites, but the issue is that each blog must have unique articles. If you write about one thing in multiple blogs, each article must be different. So, if you have 4 blogs, you must have 4 versions of one article.

I don't know of the limit of blogs you can have on each site. Squidoo lets you have as many as you want. Tumblr might have a limit, but you would need to find out at their site.

Abandoning some blogs for a while won't lose you followers, but you won't gain any, either. You need to see what works for you.
