How do you make a video to market a service online ? - Francesco di Jedlesee - 04-08-2014 08:50 PM

What's a good, free slide show recorder to create a simple instruction video? What are the best places to upload these videos for good circulation? Please share some of your experience if you have done this before ... thanks!

Here's a nice review of free video tools (may be a few years old)
http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/video-editing-30-free-tools-and-web-services-to-get-things-done/

Some sites that allow 30 to 60 second presentations with cool effects to be made for free:
Animoto.com 30 sec max for free, the coolest
FlixTime.com 60 sec free not as cool
ProShowWeb.com (photoDex/ProshowShow Producer freebie) Good Control
OneTrueMedia.com least cool

You can pay someone on Fiverr.com $5 to produce a 30 second video, these may be a slideshow presentation with music using your images or an attractive female spokesperson.

Youtube is a good place to publish your video, easy to you already have a Google account, you would be able to embed that free hosted video on your web pages as well.

You could try trial versions of adobe captivate or camtasia.

it's a simple to use online tool to make your own animated videos. There are
templates you can use or start from scratch.. you could reuse and sell
them on to your clients.
