What is the proper Alt code for minus sign? - John Paul - 04-08-2014 08:50 PM Alt + 45 (-) doesn’t help because it appears to be a code for hyphen. Alt + 0150 (–), on the other hand, shows the code for en dash. So, what code is it? - Zarn - 04-08-2014 08:58 PM Alt + 0045 is the code for a minus sign in ASCII. http://www.asciitable.com/ There's no difference between a hyphen (em-dash) and a minus sign in ASCII - there would only be a (theoretical) difference in Unicode. - Mr Rochey - 04-08-2014 09:01 PM Alt + 0045, dash and minus signs are the same. Hope this helps. ~Mr Rochey~ |
