Also, if someone has 5,000 followers, would they be considered "tumblr famous" or is it not that uncommon?

I think its quite common, you've gotta get till +10k to really be tumblr famous but now you've reached 5000 it shouldn't be a problem. Do more promos and join networks and you'll be there in no time!

tumblr famous can be someone who talks to their follower a lot, does group promos, in a lot of networks, or post selfies because they're like pretty or whatever. like if you get a lot of random and anon asks and they ask about your personal life then i would consider them famous. i only have 1k and i'm not famous.
