I tried and have failed this idea, it is really complicated process if you would like to set up this dating service. However you would need someone professional to create a website, and make it appealing to readers, also you have to set up many other things.

That's one of those businesses that probably require some significant capitol to pump it up to a useful membership level. I can't imagine making money in the short term. Create some sort of dating guide with affiliate links to established sites if you want short term returns.

You might do a search for a well know dating site name and Clone or "dating site clone" to find ready made scripts that might be a good starting point, you would probably still need to hire a programmer to customize and refine it.
A couple examples:

Well known freelance programmer marketplaces include: elance.com, odesk.com, vworker.com, guru.com

Here's one example of a project soliciting bids

Hi Kevin,

The easiest option for your own dating site is to go with a white label. A white label is basically having your own front end to an established membership database. This way you don't need any tech skills or need to establish a membership base from scratch.

All you need to worry about with a white label site is to generate new members, you then split the income with the company that's providing you with your website.

Setting up is easy and essentially free the challenge is driving traffic and sales.

Best of luck.
