Where to start, omg... well you should look into the new system that Disneyland (world?) has to keep track of all their visitors all the time.
It's just as bad as any social media thing.
But none of it (mail, a SSN, or social media ) is "controversial." It's fact, but people rarely care about it unless it affects them directly.
