Can someone be charged or punished for posting on Yahoo! Answers? - Kick Me, Have Fun - 04-08-2014 08:55 PM

Like there are violations when people comment or post on celebrities, politicians or sports people they don't like. This happens mainly on Facebook, Twitter etc

Does it also happen on this site?

This site is even worst. You do not have freedom of speech and right to say or write basic things.

Yes, people can be charged or punished. There are social laws regarding posting stuff on social media.

People have had their accounts suspended or deleted.

On any Internet site - including Yahoo - you could be charged if you make a direct, violent threat against a person. Let's just say I would not recommend a direct threat towards the US Commander-in-chief. You will get a knock at the door.

Sites like this are constantly monitored by law enforcement agencies, and this answer alone is enough to have me charged with Obstruction of Justice.

Anyway, yes, especially if you make a threart to kill or intentinally/unnintentional assist inthe process of crime.

you won't face any charges because the question or answer would be quickly deleted here before someone contacts the law, ,

I am being punished by someone who hates me i guess.my posts get reported....simple...ordinary ones....i don't know the reason.

Charged? Well....points get deleted but that doesn't matter.
