First don't spend your own money, make sure you have a rich old man supporting your publicity stunt. Pay yahoo to put you in the news everyday like you are somehow relevant, like when you forget to pay a speeding ticket or get a new car, or shake your butt in public or whatever you think is important to teenagers. You pay TMZ to repeat it over and over and make a story out of your yahoo news articles and then you will be popular, Like me!

Hi Harsukh,

I would love to answer your question, but need more information. Do you mean how would increase publicity for yourself? Are you a performer, actor, athlete, artist or something like this? Or are you trying to increase awareness of a business or product?

Happy to help, but need more info.

Hi Harsukh,
Most importantly, you need to have an edge that will make you 'remarkable'. Give people a story to pass along to others without being offense. Read Seth Godin's book 'Purple Cow'. That will give you an idea of what I'm talking about.
If you have something that is 'remarkable' and you start with your small circle of friends/family, they will do your publicity for you. Keep building your relationships outward from there and gain traction.
Keep at it and keep me posted on the results!

As advertising budgets and newsrooms shrink, media coverage about your company or organization becomes more valuable. Publicity can be one of the most cost-effective marketing tools you have and it is part of any good marketing strategy. Whether you’re a retail business or not-for-profit organization, if no one knows who you are and what you do, your efforts will go unnoticed.

Gaining press coverage can be tricky. Editors are working with ever-shrinking staff and when they can’t send a reporter, they are often pleased to receive a well-written press release. You can send that press release, but the media are under no obligation to use the information you send. Suzanne’s journalism background makes her especially proficient at writing press releases that are interesting, informative, and in a style that conforms to traditional journalistic standards, which increases the chance that your article will run.

Building and maintaining relationships is key to successful public relations. We have developed valuable media contacts and an extensive professional network which result in heightened visibility and recognition for our clients.

May be are you a person like Celebrity, then go to FB and Twitter . Create the accounts and create the Pages. Then promote your page on social networking sites. And do some off page seo.

or

If you are having the website, then write a unique content and post in social networking sites and promote and do some On page seo and concentrate more on Off page seo... I think this is enough
