I have an old client and a new client whose primary goal is to get the maximum amount of facebook likes possible within a short period of time. One is an author whose publisher is demanding she have more likes on facebook and more twitter followers to get better bookings and higher advances. The other customer has buyers like Walmart that judge the company's clout off of social media following. Because of this, the engagement of the fans is not a big deal, we just need a lot of them. Traditional heavy facebook advertising is expensive, and maybe not as effective as quickly. I'd like to do a combo, spend about 1k in fb advertising a month and top that off with buying 5k facebook likes per month for about a year. The ultimate goal for the Author is to reach around 150k likes, I think I could do this in a year with targeted advertising and buying fans. It's hard to find people out there who have bought facebook likes, I know it's not a normal strategy and that it's supposed to be illegal. I'd like some opinions on the best way to approach this, thanks!

If they are paying well then never to bluff them. Give them all the real likes from real accounts. Do some more fb campaigns.
Even though you can get facebook advertising coupons from various seller ( will cost you $9 for $100 fb coupon from fiverr) and start a new campaign with a new accounts. You will save $$$
