yes, fb give you an email id, it is in your settings where you can change your email id.

sure, you just have to know their facebook id... example:
to email
http://www.facebook.com/johnsmith
use
johnsmith@facebook.com
just keep in mind your email gets put into the person's "other messages" folder and they arent notified about it being there, and if you are sending from am email address that is registered on facebook, and that person has you blocked, they will not receive the email message at all
