Actual free website design tool? - confused soul - 04-08-2014 09:09 PM

I have a domain name registered.
I am programming its content which will take some time.
By then I want to create a "Coming Soon" page for that domain.
I tried atleast 7-8 sites for web page design but ultimately everyone asks me to register a new domain name.
Also I don't have any hosting service yet. But just for a single page do i need it?
I have registered the domain from godaddy.com
Give me a detailed

Registering your domain name is half the battle - that just sets aside the URL for your future use. Next, in order to actually have someone visit your domain, you need a host/ISP (yes, even for a single page). If you are planning on using the site as a professional site, consider paying for the host as opposed to a free host/ISP - this will eliminate the self-serve banner ads that the free sites will put on your page (which looks unprofessional). A paid host should run you under $150 a year for decent throughput and allow for Java, PHP, etc. (which you may not get from free web domains).
