I have had my account there the longest (went through 4(maybe 5) Internet Service Providers during since 1995...so those mailboxes got lost as the start up companies shut down.

MSN/Hotmail/Outlook should be recognized by most services as a legitimate email standard.
Since you haven't indicated what service determines MSN/Hotmail/Outlook as being illegitimate, we cannot give you advice on how to resolve the problem.
