Ebay Question! Please Help 99Cents Bid? - Username_123 - 04-08-2014 09:14 PM

I put my 3DS with 3 games for a 99cent bid about a day and a half ago. It has 15 Watchers and 9 Bids. I'm scared I won't get at least 150 dollars for it and I really don't want to get scammed. I heard a lot of the bids come in the last 10 minutes but I'm still scared. Is there like a certain number of bids/watchers that I should have by a certain day before I take it down? Thanks.

You have agreed to accept 99 cent. If this is unacceptable remove your listing and relist with a reserve price ie the minimum you will accept.

Most of the watchers are really sellers.
Sellers who have the same item that that you do --- already listed or are waiting to see how your auction goes before they list.

A lot of bids do come in the last few seconds of an auction. You really need to cowboy-up and wait it out.

You do know that if you have bids on an item and cancel the auction you will be charged Final Value Fees on the highest bid, right?

Putting it on for 99 cents means you'd accept 99 cents so you either have to take it down now and delist with $150 start price or reserve and start again but it's very true a lot of bods come in the final few minutes and seconds so if you want to comply with selling rules you can wait it out

Well, if it does not sell for more than a couple of dollars that is your fault. 99 cents is fine if you know what you are doing, and you have a huge shipping charge to make up for that. You wont get $150. You cannot take it down while it has bids on it. You can try one thing. Go to end listing early and try to give a reason and see if Ebay accepts that. If not, you are stuck, pal. Never list something for less than you really want to accept. You will get a lot of negative feedback and possibly lose your ability to sell again.
