Can I advertise on facebook, crafts that im selling to raise funds for a certain cause? - scope1583 - 04-08-2014 09:14 PM

Not really advertise or sell directly, but just inform people that Im selling things to donate money to a certain cause, and say to contact me for payment options. Is this allowed on facebook?
I mean because lets face it, I don't see anywhere on facebook to contact them, so that's why Im asking here

What I did was just put a link and a blurb. You could take a few pics and add them to the page and then just leave it up with the link to the site you would be making with info on it.

Of course that means not using facebook for other things but hey who really wants to anyway? I mean don't just dead beats and pathetic folks do that?

Your safer crating a separate page for the promotion and not doing it on your personal profile, you can then log in under the page name so any group post or comment you make link back to the page.

There's quite a bit of selling on Facebook, they do crack down on some affiliate links to money making schemes, etc. in the Facebook spirit you should emphasize the cause and have the but like more of an afterthought. Using Facebook paid ads to attract people to like the page is one way to get attention, if you get 30? likes you can edit the address they give, cutting out the digits at the end.

if not you can try yorbin they charge .50 cents per listing with no final value fee ( ebay takes 10%) and the payments through paypal makes it easy for buyers
