ive designed an image map for the basis of my website, the whole site revolves around this image so have no space for adverts. i was woundering if i would be able do draw my own adds in the image and have the affiliate code in the link of the hot spot?
if you understand me? struggling to explain it really haha

It is a REALLY bad idea to build your site around an image map. Image maps were used about 15 years ago. The problem with them is that google can't read anything in an image. All text and content is not shown to google and this will really hurt your site in the search engines.
