Do anything illegal and someone WILL find you. The police.

they probably could track you if they really tried. so basically you shouldnt say something bad that would make them go to those measures. but it would honestly take a while for them to find you so i dont think theyd try unless you did or said something drastic. and Fred is right the police could easily find u if u got their attention

Yes but with great difficulty. He / She has to figure out your I.P address, from this he has to find you location then he has to find your specific address. Doing all this, is not too easy and even legal authorities do have a hard time to locate a person in this manner.

First of all, to do this successfully , you will need cash.

Get a fake name:

Get a laptop with cash. Go to a trash and treasure market to get it. Take the ram out, take the hard drive out, and destroy them. Then get replacement ram/hard drive with the cash.

Destroy the camera on the lid (this wont destroy the screen, just the camera)

But NEVER EVER under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES enter/store/type/ any information on this laptop, which can identify you. This includes, putting a usb device in the computer. Transferring things to it/from it...etc.

Basically, anything that you can't afford to have in the wrong hands/be used against you for extortion, blackmail.

Use a public wifi network to access the internet (find a way to download tor without using the laptop you got), and find a computer you have NOT used before/and make sure the computer can't be used to identify you in ANY WAY.

Once you have tor setup, Never access sites that use flashplayer/that require plugins. You will use the deep web from now on.

Also, try to bounce around to different wifi spots.
