Read up on seo, don't expect immediate results, the search engines do have submission forms that can help get you into the search results, but showing up on page 20 is not much better than no listing.
You can get indexed without filling in forms by having backlinks from a few other sites that the search spiders are already visiting, these links from other sites are important for getting decent search ranking, as is quality original content with regular updates.

Thumbs up to what Jake said.

Don't rely completely on your submission. Also, don't submit too often, or you might be mistaken as spam even if you're not Tongue. Also, Google and other search engines will eventually crawl and index your website. Patience is the name of this game. I don't submit any more, but when I first did I used Attracta. It came as a package deal with a hostgator account.

Get SEO done for your website by a professional company. There are many good seo companies in the market, Google them up. Find the best one with the right package and get started with them. On the other hand you can do your own seo but it would take much more time and effort. If you're up to it then it is best otherwise you can save time and money by hiring a good company with a good reputation with its previous clients.
