Facebook, permissions when clicking "Like" for a company? - krkos - 04-08-2014 09:29 PM

To get a discount, I have to Like a company on facebook, but I don't want them to have any access or permissions to do anything in my account - block everything. Is there a way? Please spell it out since I am not really a facebook user.
I am looking for how to block them in the privacy or permissions. So, what you are saying is that "no" there is no way to block after you like?? Why would anyone then like any company?!

Thats the price you pay for getting something free. Like I said before nothings free. You need a Facebook account or perhaps someone willing to do it on your behalf.

Facebook doesn't give the company any permissions to do anything when you like it. So you pretty much just like it and other people will see that you liked it.

If you "Like" something, you are giving Facebook permission to use this information. Your friends will see on the sidebar that you liked something and are urged to also like it.

There is no free lunch....everything comes with a price. You get something for "free", but the company gets your word of mouth advertising and Facebook makes money by selling your "Likes".
