Question about firefox browser syncing? - Schwarz - 04-08-2014 09:36 PM

Today I decided to set up Firefox sync which allows people to create an account so all the user's bookmarks passwords and open tabs can be displayed on another device.

So today on my desktop I set it all up and then went to my laptop to sign in and see if it would work and of course it did, But after I signed out of the browser I noticed it still maintains all my bookmarks so my question is, Is this normal or should all the bookmarks just vanish once I have signed out of Firefox sync or do I need to manually delete each one every time I sign in and out?
Thanks nick but you didn't completely answer the last part of the question

Do I need to manually delete each one every time I sign in and out?

All your information is stored on your computer AND on Mozilla's servers.
When you log out of Firefox Sync on your computer, everything on your computer will be kept, but it will no longer be in sync with Mozilla's servers.
So, as you can see, there's no reason to worry. Smile
