Hi Anna. I have been a LMT for 26 years and as far as I'm concerned, if you want to have a long career in any hands on type of therapy, it better be one that people actually need and are willing to pay for. As the economy gets worse, the average person drops things like relaxation massages ( hot stone ) "energy" therapies, reflexology and such. But there will always be people suffering from myofascial pain http://myofascialtherapy.org/myofascial-therapy/index.html that will need our services and are willing to pay for them. Getting a massage therapy license would be the first goal, and then extensive training in myofascial trigger point therapy. I treat people fully clothed, in my own office, and enjoy helping people who usually have not been helped by other disciplines. Here is what a session would look like...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSa5Xu2jxcU Just my two cents..lol
