How to protect Facebook pages from hackers? - Abdussamad - 10-15-2012 08:52 PM

I am an admin for lots of pages (not the owner) and our facebook page regularly does get hacked, my friend gets removed as owner sometimes by one of the other admins, although we dont know who. So, I want an app or security measure installed to track who is doing what on our facebook page, admin or not, and if someone hacks our facebook page or even removes my friend as the owner of the page, they'll get caught. Ideas?

Hi Abdussamad,

I think there's no particular app to track these issues on your page. However, here are some tips on how to protect your Facebook pages from hackers:

1. Assign admin(s) that you personally trust.
2. If you can manage your page, better not to assign admins.
3. Create unique password for your personal account
4. Use third-party apps that can monitor your page without assigning other admins (Hootsuite, Tweetdeck)

Hope these helps.
