I do not want any more advertisements to come up. How do I stop the advertisements being on my screen?

Your site? If the site belongs to you, you put the ads there and should just tell your advertisers that you are going to take them down.
However, if you used a free web making tool, you probably cannot remove them for free.
On the other hand, if you mean that ads annoy you on ALL websites, just get AdBlock.
