So I woke up this morning to find that the wi-fi on my phone was connected, but was unable to connect to online servers. I got up to see if the wired connection on my comp. was working, and the little Internet connection icon is constantly trying to connect, but failing each time. Right now Im on phones 4G and trying to find out what the problem is. I'm wondering if any of you know what the problem might be. I've already reset my modem, and tried renewing my ip.
+ So I just found out my brother has tried completely resetting the router (using a paper clip and pressing the reset button for several seconds), this did nothing but what I realized is the little lights indicating which wires are active or not have turned back on, where as they were all off before doing this. So I went to my comp and tried renewing my ip again, then ran ipconfig /all and my ip is 0.0.0.0 and I'm currently trying to access the router configurations through my comp. but no ip, no access. Please help.

The problem is probably actually on you ISP's end. You could try calling them to see if there are any outages.

So, you have no internet, but you were able to post your question!
I'll need to consider that concept before I can come up with an answer.

You must have reset it.now you have to connect your pc to modem through LAN port wire,and then install the icon driver and settings from the cd which came with your wireless router and then run ipconfig and log in into your gateway on any browser.and then give a name to your wifi and YOU'R ALL DONE
Then you can connect your mobile or any device through wifi and DON'T FORGET TO TURN WIFI ON from the browser page and after you have finished JUST UNPLUG the lan wire and BROWSE....!!!
You can get your username from your bill attachement..on which your usage is printed

Do what Leo said.
In case you dont have a cd for your modem, you may have to call your ISP and ask them for the username and password for your connection. you may have to change or enter this username password combo in the router configurations.
At least, my isp has this type of setting.
