eBay incorrectly sided with the seller, what should I do? - Boom - 04-08-2014 09:45 PM

Hi there!

I recently bought a laptop part from a seller on eBay. On arrival, I found it was different model from the one on the webpage. Accordingly, I returned it to the seller using the dispute system. The seller received the item, and contacted eBay saying that the model sent was the same as that described (a lie/mistake). eBay immediately sided with the seller and closed the dispute without asking for proof. This, to me, was very odd, as eBay almost always sides with the buyer.

I'm now stuck with an £200 piece of silicon I can't use. What would be the best way of disputing eBay's decision/getting my money back?

Thanks!

You can appeal the decision. Go here ->http://ocsnext.ebay.com/ocs/cusr?&query=1589
and click on RESOLUTION CENTER . You have 45 days to appeal the decision. Ebay doesn't make it easy, so be stubborn.
