What you want to do is get Calibre and then convert ebook to PDF. Calibre is a utility that has many ebook functions. PDF is a crappy format for reading though. ePub is much better. ebooks.com or gutenberg.org are good places to get books in different formats.

Amazon works well. I just use my kindle app or Google play store
