Online - Pay-Per-Click. Managed correctly with ads that have offers would be helpful. A GEO targeted campaign would be helpful to your type of business.

Word of mouth is a common focus of many martial arts establishments. PPC (Pay Per Click online advertising, such as Google Adwords) is also a good way to gain visibility quickly, and even customers if you set up the campaign and landing pages correctly.
