It looks ok. The biggest problem is that the url (liveluvlife.com) has really nothing to do with your topic. I would think of liveluvlife to be a girly girl blogging site sort of like cosmo magazine. Not a professional site where you are trying to educate people on the journey of being gay parents / a gay family.
The only thing that really bothered me was the numbers that are next to Family in the upper left hand corner. What are these for? I live in a very gay community, have gay friends, and have no idea what kind of secret language this is.
