I bid for an item on ebay and i realised that the hair straightener had the wrong end (it connects to the car cigarette lighter instead of the power switch at home)
What happens if im the only person who bids and doesn't pay?
Will ebay do something to my account?
Can they take me to court for a hair straightener?
Please answer!!! ^^^^

You can write to them asap and tell them you made a mistake and its not what your looking for. You can write to the seller.

Don't worry. I sell items on eBay and I had a few problems with people who didn't pay. What happens is after a few days they will send you a notification if you are going to pay and you can either say yes or no. If you say no the item will just be relisted and somebody else can buy it and will be like nothing happened. I recommend you message the seller that you are not going to buy the item so he/she won't give their hopes up on receiving payment after 5 days. What sellers don't like is lack of communication with their buyers and vice versa...
