Those lousy ads that look like emails, but have a $ where the delete box is usually so you can't get rid of them. Also, those ads that appear in a box in the lower right corner of the screen. I get tired of having to turn them off.

You don't...welcome to the new Yahoo e-mail. In order to drive more ad dollars into the Yahoo treasury, Yahoo has started selling this ad space - it is built into the Yahoo e-mail system and the only way to get rid of them is to either hope Yahoo starts charging you to use e-mail or you find a different e-mail provider.
