I'm writing a paper looking for examples.

I'm not sure if this would count, but I guess it's the media changing the idea's of people within my family and the roles they play in life.

My sister and I were talking about the future one time (She is 14 and I am 18) and she stated that if someone was to like me in the future, I would have to cut my hair/wear make up/lose weight/wear different clothes.
It's rather shocking that TV, magazines and films as well as the way people are portrayed on social media have changed her view on how people should act or look to find a partner in life.

I'm not sure if this would count at all, but I was rather shocked, and have tried to treat my younger sister in a way to try and help her understand that the future isn't about how people look, it's about how they act.
