Okay, so earlier I accidentally sent a friend request to a girl who I hated in high school, and cancelled it within seconds.. So then I blocked the Facebook user, does this mean she'll still be able to see the "friend request" or did it vanish?

Depends on how she has it setup......... if she had it set up to email notify her the email is still there but the link will be dead.
